Hardy Palm International (HPI)
Articles featured in HPI are produced by readers of the journal, and thus are non-technical in nature. Each issue features stories which chronicle the successes and failures of readers in their exotic gardening efforts. As such, the journal is an important resource from which even the experienced gardener and exotic plant fan can learn. Do you want to contribute an article to HPI? Please contact the HPI coordinating editor for details.
Hardy Palm International has changed! In 2018 the small format printed journal was replaced by a larger format high resolution pdf version, sent to members by email. Not only does the content and total material per issue remain the same or greater, but articles now include live links and opportunity for feedback from readers. There are two issues per year. Distribution times are variable but generally about 6 months apart.

Back Issues
NEW! Back issues of HPI starting at issue #51 to the current issue #102 have been converted to pdf format, and single issues are available free of charge to current members upon request. Issues prior to #51 were not suitable for this conversion, and a few issues in this range are missing. The original intent of these pdf files was print publication so there is considerable variation in format. We suggest you peruse the master list (above) before making a request. If you are interested, please contact John Brimacombe citing the issue number that you want.
